During the PS5 reveal last month, Octodad developer Young Horses announced its new game Bugsnax. The trailer was filled with all sort of weird and wonderful things including living and breathing food animals. Yes, Bugsnax is all about Snaktooth Island and all the food creatures that live there. One thing that stayed with us was the song which played during the trailer. It is catchy and I was honestly humming it all night. Well, Young Horses released the full version of the song and its sung by none other than Kero Kero Bonita.

The “It’s Bugsnax” song is now available on Apple Music, Spotify and more. However, be warned it is dangerously catchy and you may find yourself humming it after one listen. Personally, I added it to my Apple Music library the second it released (don’t judge me). Listen to the full “It’s Bugsnax” song by Kero Kero Bonita down below.
If you listen closely, which I have because it has been on replay the whole morning, the lyrics go into detail about the expedition of the 12 Grumpuses. Clearly, this is a key story moment for Bugsnax and while we don’t know much about the game’s setting right now, the tune kinda gives us a little more insight into it.
We also know that the game will allow players to instantly alter their DNA by consuming animals on the island. Other than that, we don’t know much else. The trailer, which you can catch up on below, touches on some gameplay elements including platforming and puzzles. Young Horse announced the developer will share more information on Bugsnax on 27 July 2020. The Bugsnax is set to release on PS5, PS4 and PC in late 2020.
