While we are all hoping and waiting for the massive Dota 2 update to release today or possibly tomorrow in South African time, there are some predictions that Battle Pass owners need to make soon. Every Dota 2 pro team wants a spot at the biggest esports tournament of the year and that’s where The International 2019 qualifiers come in.

Battle Pass owners have until 7 July at 06:00 South African time to make their predictions for The International 2019 qualifiers so time is running out. Sure, the open qualifiers are still going on, but better be safe than sorry and make them early, especially with the upcoming update that is likely to cause some downtime or connectivity issues, as per usual.
Before we get to my The Internaional 2019 qualifier picks in the image below, here’s some commentary on why I chose the teams I did for each of the qualifiers.
In the CIS region I have Na’Vi as the team isn’t looking to bad but one of the biggest reasons is that I want the team to return and make a splash at The International 2019. Mineski had some decent results in the DPC season so for the SEA region so I am going with them, as the pickings are quite slim. Possibly the most contested region, as per tradition, is China. For that, I went with Invictus Gaming (they looked great during the open qualifiers), but Royale Never Give Up is also a great pick as they performed relatively well during the Epicenter Major, especially during the group stages.
As you can see, you can earn 500 Battle Points (half a level) for every correct prediction, so if your crystal ball is polished up nicely, you could earn a total of 3000 Battle Points.
