After suffering numerous leaks this morning, Sony has issued a new release date for The Last of Us Part 2. The company also announced a new date for the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima. In order to release both PS4 games in a timely manner, Sony has delayed Ghost of Tsushima.

The Last of Us Part II will now arrive on 19 June 2020. Ghost of Tsushima will follow the month after releasing on 17 July 2020. Delayed from its initial 26 June release date.
In a blog post, Sony congratulated both Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch on their achievements under the harsh COVID-19 pandemic circumstances. The company also thanked PlayStation fans for their support and patience.
Keep in mind that the internet is still full of The Last of Us Part 2 spoilers. Just going onto a PlayStation tweet thread will spoil the game for you right now so tread carefully online. No plans to prevent these spoilers from spreading were shared by Sony yet. Hopefully, something happens soon so players can enjoy the much-anticipated release in June.
Ghost of Tsushima’s delay comes as no surprise. The game’s release date being smack bang in the middle of June, allowed for Sony to move The Last of Us Part II into the same week. If anything, gamers can look forward to two great PS4 exclusive games coming just over a month apart. As of writing, Last of Us has not returned to the PlayStation Store.
