The Last of Us Part 2 Pulled Off the PlayStation Store – Sony Issuing Refunds

The Last of Us Part 2 was delayed late last week after Naughty Dog announced that the game would not make its 29 May 2020 release date due to logistic issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Naughty Dog did not issue a new release date for The Last of Us Part 2 leaving gamers questioning whether or not the game will be released before the end of the year. For some reason, Sony has pulled the game off the PlayStation Store and has begun issuing refunds for it.

If you head to the PlayStation Store right now, you won’t find The Last of Us Part 2 anywhere. That is because it is gone. The Last of Us Part 2 PlayStation Store listing has vanished. To make matters worse, Sony is now automatically issuing refunds for the game to those who pre-ordered it.

According to reports, people are not even filing for their refunds. Instead, Sony is automatically putting credits for the game back into their accounts. The same goes for Iron Man VR which has also been pulled from the PlayStation Store and refunds have been processed. The game was also delayed alongside The Last of Us Part 2 last week.

No one knows why Sony has removed the games off of the store or what they plan on doing in the coming weeks. Both The Last of Us Part 2 and Iron Man VR do not have a new release date. Another concern is the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima. While Sony has not announced a delay yet, the game is set to release on 26 June 2020 and if the COVID-19 pandemic has anything to do with it, it may not make its release either.
