According to Polygon, Sony is unable to comment due to the on-going investigation.

A tonne of The Last of Us Part II information leaked last week. Resulting in forums being overrun with spoilers. The leaks included cutscenes, the complete level list, and the entire plotline.

Rumours claimed the leak came from disgruntled Naughty Dog employees. Many believed the person leaked the information to get back over crunch issues. However, that is no longer the case. The game is one of this year’s most anticipated video game releases. Hopefully, Sony takes drastic action against these individuals who are responsible for ruining the game for fans.

Since the leak, forums, social media comments and Twitch chats have been subject to an army of people posting spoilers about the game. It is hard to avoid them at this stage.  The game is due to release on 16 June 2020 for PS4.
