The Last of Us Part 2 II Sony PlayStation PS4 Naughty Dog

The Last of Us Part II to Release in February 2020 With Four Different Editions – Rumour

The Last of Us Part II could be released in February 2020 according to a new rumour and along with the standard edition, the game will come with three fancy versions too.

The information comes from administrator ZhugeEX who is also a Senior Analyst at Niko Investors. Apparently, Sony is prepping the game for a February 2020 release date along with four different editions including a Standard Edition, Special Edition, Collector’s Edition, and an “Ellie Edition”.

The same source reported on the Death Stranding release date which turned out to be true so this could be a possibility too. It is not the first time we have heard about this February 2020 release date as it has been rumoured for a while now.

It would also make sense for Sony to release the game in February 2020 as they know the month does great for them given Horizon Zero Dawn’s success during the same month in 2017. The month would be strange for a Naughty Dog game though as the studio usually releases titles in the latter half of a year.

If this release month is true, gamers are in for quite a busy early 2020 as the first few months of the year will bring Final Fantasy VII: Remake, Watch Dogs: Legion, Wasteland 3, Cyberpunk 2077 and much more.

We have not seen anything new from The Last of Us Part II in over a year now as the last trailer was out of E3 2018. With Sony skipping E3 last month, we lost the chance of seeing the game in action.
