The Last of Us Part II is one of the most anticipated games on mostly every gamer’s radar and even without a release date, we cannot wait to sink our teeth into it. It seems the game is going to be a rollercoaster of heartbreak and trauma as the voice for Joel, Troy Baker revealed the game is overwhelmingly emotional and one of the biggest game Naughty Dog has ever made.

Speaking at a panel at Manchester Comic-Con, Baker made it clear we are not ready for what’s coming our way in The Last of Us Part II.

All I can tell you is that as much as you’re clamouring for it, you’re not ready.”[/perfectpullquote]
This is not the first time we have been warned about the upcoming game. Speaking to Push Square, Troy Baker stated The Last of Us Part II is hands-down the most ambitious game that Naughty Dog has ever done and it is far larger than he thought it was going to be possible.
So what is the The Last of Us Part II release date? Well, right now we are not sure. We heard reports of a late 2019 release date but then new reports stated the game was delayed to February 2020. With it already being August, a 2019 release date does not seem realistic.
Sony may release the game before the end of March 2020 which seems more fitting. Sony’s success with that release window has proven fruitful as both Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War were highly successful launches around the same time.
Sony just needs to be careful not to step on the toes of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 as even if The Last of Us Part II is a big game, it might not beat CD Projekt Red’s upcoming sci-fi.
