The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Release Date and New Trailer

At Nintendo Direct E3 2019, Nintendo showed off the modern re-imagining of one of the most beloved games in the Legend of Zelda franchise, Link’s Awakening. With a cool new trailer which looks so colourful and amazing, a release date of 20 September 2019 was revealed.

The original game released all the way back on the Game Boy on 6 June 1993 and this year, players will return to the mysterious island of Koholint in the boots of Link to guide him on his perilous adventure in a quest to return home.

The new Link’s Awakening will feature everything that made the original great, with beautiful graphics, a what looks to be a new dungeon creation tool and new chamber dungeons players can complete for rewards. From the game’s reveal at Nintendo Direct E3 2019, it looks like it will make fans of the original game very happy.

As one of the most beloved entries in the Zelda franchise, fans should be eagerly marking their calendars right now as the game looks great on the modern Nintendo Switch platform.
