The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD has been spotted online as a Nintendo Switch port. The listing was uploaded by videoigr, an online retail store that was seemingly uploading new game listings expected to launch in the months ahead.
The listing was spotted alongside the upcoming Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Slender The Arrival VR, Deliver At All Costs and Eternal Life of Goldman. All these games are planned for upcoming physical releases.
Of course, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD has not been announced by Nintendo for the Switch. The game remains one of the single Wii U games that have not been released outside of the console. If anything, it is likely the one and only game that you can’t play if you don’t have a Wii U.
Fans have speculated that Nintendo would release an HD port of the masterpiece on the Switch but it hasn’t happened in almost seven years. This retail listing doesn’t mean anything until Nintendo confirms the game. However, it might just be the leak we need in our lives right now.
Keep in mind that this is a listing and it could be incorrect. Retailers often list games that never release. I am not sure why it happens but this isn’t the first time it has. It would be pretty awesome to have The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD on the Switch. Fans have hoped for that game as well as a Twilight Princess remaster.
