The Mandalorian kicks off its second season on 30 October 2020 on Disney Plus. While we don’t have the service in SA, you can still use a VPN to watch it. The brand-new trailer for the Star Wars series teases what fans can expect from the new episodes.
Much of the trailer focuses on the adventure of Mando and the Child as they try to track down more Mandalorians. The second season picks up right where the last season ended and aims to explore a much larger story in the world. Disney claims that The Mandalorian season two will see storylines intertwine more than the first season. The studio promises that everything is bigger, the stakes are higher and the personal story between the Child (Baby Yoda) and the Mandalorian develops in new ways people will enjoy.
The Mandalorian season two comes at an important time for Disney and its Plus streaming service. 2020 has not been kind on it with no real new and exciting content to watch. Part of the cause was due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that caused major delays in productions. Multiple shows including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision were pushed back due to the pandemic. Hopefully, The Mandalorian season two is enough to draw people back to the service. Meanwhile, we are still waiting for it to launch in the region.
