Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for The Matrix Resurrections and it takes us back into the world of the Matrix. There are some familiar faces to see in the trailer including Neo and Trinity. The eagerly-awaited sequel hints that both Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Neo (Keanu Reeves) have forgotten about the events of the original trilogy.
Neo is now going by his original name of Thomas Anderson as the trailer opens up and he is seen speaking to his therapist played by Neil Patric Harris. Thomas claims to be having dreams that weren’t just dreams. Thomas is also seen taking pills that are blue. He then runs into Trinity and they don’t remember each other at all.

Neo then meets Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s character that kind of resembles a young Morpheus and he is given a red pill. He then tells Neo it is “time to fly” and sets off on a sequence that brings back scenes from the original movie.
The trailer then goes into full Matrix mode as Neo is seen not only stopping bullets but also redirecting giant missiles as he prevents them from hitting him.
