Bloober Team, the developers behind The Medium and Layers of Fear series, have announced a partnership with Rogue Games to work on an all-new horror game that will take advantage of new-generation tech, targeting a release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Rogue Games promises that the new game will be “unforgettable” and “original” too.

Rogue Games took to social media recently to confirm their partnership with Bloober Team, who have been on the front lines of the horror genre in gaming lately. Last year they released the acclaimed horror The Medium, which took advantage of the new-generation consoles’ hardware to display its awesome dual-world feature.

Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno expressed his excitement in the upcoming project, stating:

“We couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with Rogue on this incredible project. We pride ourselves on making games that push the boundaries of originality and immersion, and we’re delighted to be working alongside a company that shares our vision.”

Likewise, Rogue Games CEO Matt Casamassina also had exciting things to say about the new game, hyping it up to be an unforgettable game that fans will definitely want to pay attention to:

“We’ve admired Bloober’s dark and gorgeous games for years, so we knew right away they were the only team to do this crazy cool concept justice. Today’s not the day—unforgettable, original, kickass games take time and care to make—but we can’t wait to fully announce details on this project at a later date.”

According to sources, this isn’t the only project that Bloober Team is working on at the moment. Previous reports suggested that, due to their other partnership with Konami, they might be making a new entry in the psychological horror series Silent Hill. It’s definitely a clean fit for the studio, as The Medium was heavily inspired by Team Silent’s iconic horror franchise.
