Say what you will about the fight between Steam and the Epic Games Store, but one thing I do love about Epic is that they continue to give away a new free game every two weeks and will do so for the rest of the year. That’s a lot of free games and while some of them haven’t been that great, some have been awesome experiences. The next free game from Epic has been revealed as the fantastic RiME, a must-play title that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed.

With Untold Stories now free on the Epic Games Store, Epic has revealed RiME as the next free game, so mark those calendars for 23 to 30 May and get ready to grab it over at this link. RiME was released back in May 2017 and I really enjoyed this adventure/puzzle experience set on a strange island. It is probably of my favourite puzzle games and it scored an average of 78 on Metacritic and has a “very positive” user review rating on Steam.
The game was developed by Tequila Works with a great writer Rob Yescombe doing the story where you play as a young boy who washed up on a mysterious island. It is without a doubt well worth buying so getting RiME for free is simply fantastic. Keep in mind that if you take advantage of this freebie starting 23 May, the game will be yours to keep forever and there are no strings attached.
