The Outer Worlds PS4 Pro Enhancements Reportedly Not Happening – Xbox One X Enhanced

Fans of Fallout: New Vegas probably can’t wait for The Outer Worlds, dubbed as a Sci-Fi Fallout-like game from Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division. The game is releasing this month, on 25 October 2019 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. For those with Sony’s mid-gen console upgrade, however, we might have some bad news. The Outer Worlds PS4 Pro enhancements reportedly won’t be a thing, but it will be Xbox One X enhanced.

Normally, a multiplatform game is enhanced for both mid-gen upgrade consoles. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case with The Outer Worlds and the PS4 Pro. This is according to a report by Windows Central, who spoke to publisher Private Division where a spokesperson told them that The Outer Worlds is: “4K on Xbox One, no enhancements for PS4 Pro.”.

At the time of writing, no further information has been made available from Obsidian Entertainment or Private Division on the matter but hopefully, this is an error as the PS4 Pro should at least have some enhancements over the base console for any modern game.

In The Outer Worlds, you will be able to do as you please, kill anyone and much more in a world where you decide what happens and how the story unfolds.

As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. Hopefully, Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division will clarify this news soon as PS4 Pro owners looking forward to the game will be left a bit disappointed if they get absolutely no enhancements.
