The first season of The Umbrella Academy launched on 15 February 2019 which is just over a year ago. Netflix is no doubt ramping up marketing for the upcoming second season of the show even though we don’t have a premiere date yet. The streaming service released a handful of character posters which looks pretty rad and could hint at a near release date for the second season.

The big drive for The Umbrella Academy Season 2 is “When Are They?” which is ideal given how the last season ended. Again, we don’t have a release date for the show yet but stay tuned as we have a feeling it will be happening quite soon.
The Umbrella Academy Season 2 wrapped up shooting in November last year so right now, Netflix has been editing and making it look pretty for us. Actors Justin H. Min and David Castañeda posted on Instagram after the shooting wrapped up saying;

A huge thank you to our cast and crew, who’ve become a second family to me the last six months; I’ll miss seeing your beautiful faces everyday. And Toronto, I fall more in love with you every year — especially when I can run away right before winter gets bad. I can’t wait for you guys to see what we’ve been working on. Season 2 is gonna be wild.”

It is just a matter of time before the show lands on your Netflix account.
