The first official trailer for The Umbrella Academy season 2 dropped this afternoon ahead of its Netflix debut. The trailer does a great job giving us a glimpse at what’s to come in the action-packed second season of the Dark Horse Comics-adapted show. Season 2 will follow Sir Reginald’s children scattered across a three-year period in Dallas, Texas. This is a result of Number Five using his power to escape Vanya’s end-of-the-world breakdown at the end of the first season.
It seems that some of the children have already begun to rebuild their lives while stuck in the past. Some of them have found lovers, created a religious cult and even become boxing champions. The second season will hopefully see the children unite under one cause instead of fighting. They all need to stop the end of the world… again.
The Umbrella Academy Season 2 sees the returning cast members Ellen Page (Vanya), Tom Hopper (Luther), David Castañeda (Diego), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison), Robert Sheehan (Klaus), Aidan Gallagher (Number Five) and Justin H. Min (Ben). Furthermore, the show also includes some new faces such as Yusuf Gatewood (The Originals) as Raymond, Marin Ireland (Homeland) and Ritu Arya (Humans) as Lila.
The show makes its debut with all 10 episodes going live on Netflix on 31 July 2020. Check out the trailer down below;
