The Walking Dead: Destinies, a new video game based on the hit AMC TV series, has officially been announced for consoles and PC. The game will allow players to reshape the story of the TV show and make decisions that lead to drastically different outcomes. A reveal trailer gives us a hint at how these mechanics will work, including killing off main characters or having the story go down unique paths that weren’t seen before.
The Walking Dead: Destinies will apparently feature 15 characters from the show with players controlling protagonist Rick Grimes, who was played by Andrew Lincoln in the TV series. It will mainly be based on the first four seasons and contain several locations and recurring characters from the series, though the power to deviate from the script and allow who can be saved or killed will be up to the player in the end.
