Over the past few months, we’ve learned a lot about The Witcher Netflix series, including that there will be a young Geralt, a bathtub scene and more. However, one thing that have eluded fans so far is The Witcher release date on Netflix. We only knew that the series will be available to watch sometime before the end of the year and that filming already finished up in May. Now, The Witcher release date seems to have been accidentally revealed.

If you want to mark those calendars for when you will see Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia appear on Netflix, then you should probably not mark them with permanent marker. However, this leaked release date for The Witcher on Netflix does seem very legitimate. At the time of writing, there are 95 days to go before the series releases.
That’s according to an accidental post by Netflix’s Netherlands Twitter account, which posted a tweet counting down the days to some popular shows. Redanian Intelligence managed to capture a screenshot of the tweet before it was deleted, which you can view below.
This would put The Witcher Netflix Series release date as Tuesday, 17 December 2019. Remember to always take leaks like this with a grain of salt. Saying that and considering the source, however, it seems very likely that The Witcher Netflix Series release date is actually 17 December. At the time of writing, the release date has not been officially revealed, apart from this accidental tweet.
