The first trailer for The Witcher Netflix series dropped over the weekend and we are all extremely excited to binge-watch the entire season when it arrives later this year. All the characters revealed so far, including Roach, Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as sorceress Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri look incredible and we know that the series based on the best-selling novel by Andrzej Sapkowski, but one very “important” question has remained unanswered, until now. Will there be a bathtub scene like the iconic one from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt?

The answer is yes. There will be a bathtub scene in The Witcher Netflix series, but we don’t know if it will be the same iconic one found in the Wild Hunt, or even who will be in the bathtub (please don’t let it be an ogre).
Executive producer and showrunner, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, spoke about The Witcher Netflix series in a press roundtable (as reported by Gizmodo) and answered that burning question.

It remains to be seen if Henry Cavill will take up the pose as per the image above or if he might be joined by a certain sorceress and a magical scorpion-like creature.
No specific release date for The Witcher Netflix series has been announced so far but at least now we know that there will be a bathtub scene. The more you know, right?
