Last month, we got our first look at the highly-anticipated The Witcher Netflix show with a teaser trailer. Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia looked better than expected if you ask me and everything about the show so far sounds fantastic. Now, it has been revealed that we will see a young Geralt for one episode in the upcoming show, slated to release sometime late in 2019.

Henry Cavill won’t be the only actor to portray the role of Geralt of Rivia. As spotted by eagle-eyed fans over at Redanian Intelligence (via the show’s IMDb page), child actor Tristan Ruggeri has been cast as “Young Geralt of Rivia”.

Interestingly, The Witcher Netflix show’s first season will run for eight episodes and Tristan Ruggeri will only appear in one of them, in the last episode to be exact. At the time of writing, it is unknown exactly what type of scenes will be shown.
Personally, I am hoping for a scene featuring Vesemir or maybe, just maybe, we will see the Trial of Grasses in a flashback, showcasing how Geralt became a monster-slaying Witcher in the first place.
