Early this month, we got our first look at The Witcher Netflix show, with images of Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as sorceress Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri. The characters so far look fantastic, but there are a few very important characters that have not been shown off yet, for example Triss. However, one of my personal favourite characters from The Witcher 3 has to be the iconic Roach, Geralt’s trusty steed for the two people who haven’t played The Witcher 3 yet.

With the success of The Witcher franchise, Roach has become an iconic video game animal and the steed looks gorgeous in The Witcher netflix show. Check out the image of Geralt riding Roach below.

Lauren S. Hissrich mentioned that if you squint and you’ll see something else in this picture and what I see is the pommel of Geralt’s iconic monster-slaying silver sword. It is right there on the right of Roach in the image, next to the steed’s chest and you can clearly see a silver sword pommel sticking out.

The Witcher Netflix show is set to air in late 2019 and Netflix will give us an official first look at the show (hopefully that means a trailer) later this week, on 19 July 2019 at Comic-Con San Diego.
