Netflix has announced the release date for The Witcher Season 2. According to the streaming provider, viewers can look forward to Geralt’s return on 17 December 2021. We also know that The Witcher Season 2 will focus more on the present compared to the first season that jumped back and forth in time.

According to the new trailer, Geralt will also encounter some nasty new monsters including a Leshy, a forest monster and fight harder than ever to keep the evil away. We also get a tease that Ciri might go from a defenceless young girl into a powerful warrior during the second season.
