Telltale Games have unveiled the first trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2, the sequel to the 2013 episodic thriller set in a grittier universe of fairy tales. Along with the reveal trailer, a release window of 2023 was also given, though no exact date has been confirmed yet.
The Wolf Among Us 2‘s first trailer offers a tease of what’s to come for protagonist Bigby Wolf. The game will come to a variety of consoles, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Epic Games Store.

Like previous Telltale titles, The Wolf Among Us 2 will be an episodic release, with all content expected to be completed before the first episode launches. From there, it’s speculated that the sequel will launch each new episode in a weekly television format, though Telltale have yet to confirm this.
Telltale took to the PlayStation Blog to detail the anticipated and long-awaited sequel:
“Fairytales are real — and living side-by-side with everyday people in New York City. These fables still need to blend in and, well, live among us. The Big Bad Wolf (Bigby)? He’s the sheriff, keeping folks in line. Snow White helps run things – and there’s a whole host of familiar fables that are just trying to get by.
The new trailer gives you a small taste of things to come – including stretching your legs outside of Fabletown to see more of The Big Apple, in the winter of 1980. That’s right, this new season takes place six months after the events in season one. As Bigby, you take on a case that spans the normal – mundie – world, torn between who you’re going to help. Ah, but we can’t go too much deeper into the story quite yet.”
The Wolf Among Us 2 launches sometime in 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out the first mysterious trailer below.
