Various TikTok users are showing their appreciation for the Netflix show Squid Game by creating special loadouts in Call of Duty Warzone that replicate the show’s scenes. If you don’t know, Squid Game is a new Korean survival drama that has become an internet sensation for Netflix. The streaming service has even faced a lawsuit over the increased internet usage in Korea due to a mass user base watching the show. There’s also reports of a Squid Game video game in development.
It seems that fans will do anything they can to experience Squid Game even if it means using a limited loadout in Call of Duty Warzone. The TikTok Squid Game challenge revolves around the use of Modern Warfare’s MP5 and a Magnum sidearm. Players make use of the stock versions of these weapons but you also equip yourself with some attachments that include the following:
- MP5 weapon
- Barrel: Compensator
- Laser: Tac Laser
- Grip: Stippled Grip Tape
- Perk: Sleight of Hand
- Underbarrel: Operator Foregrip
- Magnum is equipped as a sidearm
The loadout is inspired by the heavily armed enforcers in Squid Game that serve the game’s mysterious organiser. They wear pink hooded jumpsuits and masks that are printed with a range of shapes. Sure, you can’t wear the same outfit in Call of Duty Warzone but at least you can use the same weapons.
There’s also a special way you need to kill the enemies in Warzone while using this Squid Game loadout. You need to first down them with the MP5 and then change to your sidearm and end it. If you get killed this way, just know the player that killed you is in on the trend.
