Microsoft announced the company will reveal upcoming third-party Xbox Series X games next week. Microsoft plans on showcasing a handful of games arriving on the console later next year. However, details are scarce at this time. The livestream will take place at 17:00 South African time and will play host to a handful of next-gen games.

As of now, the only developer to confirm attendance on the stream is Ubisoft. The developer will reveal the first gameplay for its upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla game set to debut in December this year. The latest entry in the series will release on next-gen consoles including the X and PS5.

Microsoft stated that first-party games will only be announced later this year. Meaning, don’t expect any Halo and Gears next week. The livestream will take place at 17:00 SAT / 11 am ET / 8am PT on 7 May 2020. You can watch all the action over on YouTube. We will share everything the company has to show off in case you don’t get a chance to watch it live. Microsoft’s next-gen console is planned for a holiday 2020 release date. No pricing has yet to be revealed.
