During the Future Games Show Summer Showcase, the show organizers put together a two-minute sizzle reel containing a plethora of games and projects currently being worked on in Unreal Engine 5.
The trailer is packed with dozens of games. So much so that you’ll have to carefully skim through the video to catch them all. However, I did manage to see some exciting projects including what looks like The Witcher. We know CD Projekt Red is working on a Witcher sequel in Unreal Engine 5 and there’s a very brief clip of an environment 1:12.

Other clips in the video include some in-house designed environments and characters. There’s also a fair amount of outsourced content from artists who created worlds in Unreal Engine 5 for their portfolio.
Of course, the big debate here is whether or not these visuals represent anything we’ll see in gaming, While there’s definitely a possibility that games will look like this thanks to Unreal Engine 5, we are still quite a few years away from seeing any of these game visuals come to life on our platforms.
It is still an exciting video to watch. Just witnessing what might be possible in the years ahead should make you excited for the future of gaming. Also, that Witcher clip….. Watch it down below.
