Publisher THQ Nordic has announced a digital showcase planned for early August. Those tuning into the presentation can expect updates on the Gothic 1 Remake as well as Titan Quest II, though more surprises might be in store for fans.
The THQ Nordic digital showcase will take place on 2 August 2024 at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET or 9PM CAT (local time) and feature updates on the Gothic 1 Remake, Titan Quest II and other upcoming titles from the publisher. While it misses the busy summer window of big gaming events, the timing is perfect to announce release dates for games coming in fall 2024.
Other games that could make appearances at the showcase include Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, which is currently scheduled to launch later this year. There’s a good chance that it will be shown during the showcase, assuming it doesn’t release before August. Beyond that, THQ Nordic owned-Deep Silver is also working on Kingdom Come Deliverance II, which is targeting a release before the end of the year. Fans can hopefully expect a release date announcement at the event.

Most fans are crying out for a new Darksiders game to be announced at the show. That’s no surprise considering that Darksiders is one of THQ Nordic’s more popular IPs and a new entry is long overdue. The last game released in the franchise was the spin-off Darksiders Genesis over four years ago. Main series developer Gunfire Games has been working on the Remnant series since the release of Darksiders 3 in 2018, so it’s unclear if there was another project in the works all this time.
In terms of summer gaming events, viewers can also look forward to the Xbox Games Showcase on 9 June, Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest on 7 June and Ubisoft Forward on 10 June.
