The full schedule for Tokyo Game Show 2022 has been revealed ahead of the event’s kick-off on 15 September. The list of publishers attending the show has also been revealed, including Square Enix, Capcom, Bandai Namco, Konami, Microsoft, Sega and many others. However, Sony PlayStation appears to be notably absent from that list.
Tokyo Game Show is the biggest gaming event in Japan every year and this year is no exception. With the return of a live event amidst the global pandemic, this year’s event is shaping up to be exciting with several big Japanese publishers coming together on the show floor and putting on digital presentations. Capcom will have two presentations – one focused exclusively on Street Fighter 6 – while the others will likely bring its familiar IPs along.

However, Sony Interactive Entertainment is not listed as part of the attending publishers. The company will make an appearance in the “Indie Game Corner” section, suggesting that it will at least have PlayStation Indies at the show, but in terms of a larger presence, don’t expect to see any big titles from PlayStation.
