Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, the follow-up to the remade Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, has officially been announced for consoles and PC. Interestingly, the collection will also be coming to Nintendo Switch at launch. This follows a string of rumours, leaks and speculation eventually leading to a mysterious countdown timer that appeared on the official Tony Hawk’s website, which unveiled the new games when the timer hit zero.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 will officially release on 11 July 2025 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC. As the title suggests, they’re remakes of the third and fourth games in the classic Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series, much like its predecessor.
Players who pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition of the game will get the Doom Slayer (yes, you read that correctly) and Revenant as playable skins and unique outfits, along with a skateboard shaped like the Unmaykr sword from DOOM Eternal. The standard edition will cost $49,99 while the Digital Deluxe edition will set you back $69,99. The pricier Collector’s Edition will cost $129,99 and includes a limited edition, full-size Birdhouse Wings skateboard deck plus all the contents from the Digital Deluxe version.
While the original remakes were developed by Vicarious Visions, this time development duties have been handed over to Iron Galaxy, which co-developed the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro trilogies as well as developed the PC port of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2.
The official description reads:
“Everything you loved is back, but revamped with more skaters, new parks, gnarlier tricks, eardrum shattering music, plus a whole lot more. Drop in to new and exciting parks, like an abandoned Waterpark (Yes, bring your swimsuit), or shred it up across timeless classics like Foundry, Alcatraz, College and more. New skaters join the ranks of returning pros, each equipped with fresh drip and unique tricks.”
“Let your creativity shine in the expanded Create-A-Skater and Create-a-Park modes,” it adds, confirming the return of the fan-favourite creation modes. “Compete against your friends in the new HAWK mode to prove who’s the better Pro.”
