It has been nearly seven years since Torchlight 2 released on PC all the way back in September 2012 and honestly, I almost forgot about this cool Diablo clone. Torchlight 2 was a great ARPG to play and sure, it wasn’t the best, but it had its moments and I loved that I could fish and take care of my pets in the game. This year, Torchlight 2 is finally coming to consoles. Better late than never I suppose.

One year after the game’s launch, it reportedly sold 2 million copies on PC and we have no idea why it took so long to get ported to console as well. Apparently, the gaming coming to consoles was mentioned back in March this year but it really flew under the radar. Now, developers Runic Games have released a trailer showcasing the game on consoles.
Torchlight 2 will make its way to the PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on 3 September 2019 and by the looks of the trailer, it will be a straight port from PC to consoles and not feature anything special for the console edition. Even so, the game is well worth checking out, as it will only be priced at $19.99.
