Trek to Yomi Releases on Nintendo Switch Next Week

Trek to Yomi, the side-scrolling action-adventure game from developer Flying Wild Hog and publisher Devolver Digital, is heading to Nintendo Switch next week. The game previously released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles back in May 2022 but it finally has a release date of 30 January for the Switch.

Trek to Yomi will be available to order on the Nintendo eShop (local listings should be available soon). In addition to the action-adventure game, Square Enix also announced that Life is Strange 2 will head to Nintendo Switch in early February.

The full description for Trek to Yomi provided on Steam is as follows:

“As a vow to his dying Master, the young swordsman Hiroki is sworn to protect his town and the people he loves against all threats. Faced with tragedy and bound to duty, the lone samurai must voyage beyond life and death to confront himself and decide his path forward.”

It’s also easy to draw comparisons to 2020’s Ghost of Tsushima, though the game is unique enough to stand on its own.
