Twisted Metal TV Series July Premiere Release Date

Twisted Metal TV Series Clip Has Sweet Tooth Singing Thong Song

Last night at the Summer Game Fest, Peacock debuted a new trailer for the upcoming Twisted Metal TV series. We know the show has been in the works for some time already and that its 10-episode season will release on 27 July, but we haven’t really heard much about Sweet Tooth.

During the debut, Will Arnett confirmed he was voicing the clown mask-wearing maniac in the series and it followed with a quick look at an action sequence. It is kind of strange to hear Arnett’s voice over this large brute of an antagonist. It gets even stranger when they both break out singing parts of Sisqo’s “Thong Song”.

The body actor for Sweet Tooth is actually Samoa Joe who is being voiced by Will Arnett. According to the official synopsis, the Twisted Metal show follows John Doe, played by Anthony Mackie across a post-apocalyptic wasteland while being chased down by Sweet Tooth.

“A motor-mouthed outsider is offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of a trigger-happy car thief, he’ll face savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.

The Twisted Metal show is based on the popular PlayStation series where players would race around in crazy vehicles and smash each other to pieces. According to reports, there’s a new Twisted Metal game in the works too. However, Sony has yet to comment on those rumours.
