Ubisoft Forward Skull and Bones

Ubisoft Announces Skull and Bones Showcase and Ubisoft Forward Event

Ubisoft has announced its plans to showcase new games over the next few weeks. The first showcase event is actually just around the corner and will take place tomorrow night at 8 pm CEST. The studio plans on reannouncing Skull and Bones which was originally announced back in 2018 at E3. However, the game’s development hasn’t gone as smoothly as Ubisoft hoped. Firstly, we had the covid-19 pandemic that caused havoc on the company’s development pipeline. In addition, Skull and Bones has been rebooted multiple times while being handed over to new developers.

Ubisoft will fully showcase the game tomorrow night and according to the leaked release date, players can expect to play Skull and Bones on 8 November.  The game sees players explore uncharted seas as a pirate as they plunder strongholds, fight off other players and enemy ships and grow as notorious pirates.

In addition to the Skull and Bones showcase, Ubisoft has officially dated its next “Ubisoft Forward” event. This is the one we’ve been waiting for. The event is set to take place in September and play host to a full showcase of Ubisoft’s release lineup.

While Ubisoft has yet to confirm what the event will contain, we will most likely see Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, which is also scheduled to launch in November, Beyond Good and Evil 2 and Ubisoft will officially announce its new Assassin’s Creed game. Fans of the series can most likely look forward to two new Assassin’s Creed games. One is the live-service Infinity release and the other is the smaller “Rift” game.

The September Ubisoft Forward event will take place on 10 September at 9 pm CEST. We will share more information on the streaming platforms closer to the time.
