Ubisoft Details Next-Gen Console Features For Upcoming Games

Ubisoft is one of many publishers releasing games that support both current-gen and next-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles. Gamers playing these titles on the new hardware are in for a treat as the publisher shared details on how each game makes use of the PS5 and Xbox Series X power. These features cover all its upcoming and a few current titles including Watch Dogs: Legion, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Rainbox Six Siege, Just Dance, Immortals: Fenyx Rising and more. The next-gen consoles allow not only for a resolution boost but also ray-tracing and Tempest 3D among other things.

Ubisoft shared the news on its blog portal where they detailed how each game makes use of the PS5 or Xbox. Here’s a breakdown of each game listed. Keep in mind that each game listed below offers a free upgrade on both PS4 and Xbox One to the PS5 and Xbox version. In addition, performance and resolution may vary on the Series S.

Watch Dogs Legion

  • PS5: 4K 30FPS with raytracing, Tempest 3D Audio support, adaptive triggers, dramatically reduced loading times.
  • Xbox Series X: 4K 30FPS with raytracing, dramatically reduced loading times

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

  • PS5: 4K 60FPS, Tempest 3D Audio support, adaptive triggers, dramatically reduced loading times.
  • Xbox Series X: 4K 60FPS, dramatically reduced loading times

Immortals: Fenyx Rising
