Ubisoft has announced that its annual Forward event, where the company unveils new games, release dates and trailers, will take place during the all-digital E3 2021. Last year with the cancellation of E3 2020 due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, Ubisoft hosted a handful of Forward events scattered throughout the year. These played host to announcements such as Far Cry 6, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and Riders Republic.
The Ubisoft Forward event will take place on 12 June at 3 pm EDT / 21:00 SAT. This date aligns with the all-digital E3 2021 showcase. Usually, the actual expo would kick off during that week but alas, we can’t attend anything nice anymore.

Battlefield 6 Reportedly Not Releasing on PS4 and Xbox One
Ubisoft has not announced what games we are expected to see during the Forward event. However, we can guess that it will play host to Far Cry 6, Riders Republic, the new Rainbow Six entry and perhaps the studio’s new Star Wars title that was announced back in January.
At the moment many of Ubisoft’s games are in limbo. The company was originally set to have a busy first half of the year but delayed all of its games. Far Cry 6, Riders Republic and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake were all set to debut earlier this year. Everything was delayed with no release dates sight. Ubisoft even recently delayed the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla expansion from 29 April to 13 May. Covid-19 has definitely taken its toll on poor Ubisoft.
