Ubisoft Reportedly Planning 20+ Game Showcase

Ubisoft doesn’t have a lot happening this year. Well, what we know of at the moment anyway. Besides the free-to-play live service Tom Clancy games lineup, the studio has been hush on its developments for the year ahead and beyond. That might change soon. According to reliable source Tom Henderson, the company is planning a 20-game showcase event set to take place soon.

The event will play host to a number of announcements and updates on previously announced games. This includes the likes of Skull and Bones, Avatar, the live-service Assassin’s Creed Infinity, XDefiant and more.

Keep in mind that Ubisoft usually hosts its showcase event around E3 time. However, due to the fact that we still don’t know whether or not the E3 digital event has been confirmed, the company will most likely host this independently.

Henderson claims that the lineup will include a handful of surprising reveals including a 2.5D Prince of Persia game set to launch before the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake. In addition, we will get to see the rumoured “smaller” Assassin’s Creed Rift game that is meant to act as a filler between Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Infinity. The full list of games include:

  • Skull & Bones
  • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
  • The Division Heartland
  • Immortals Fenyx Rising sequel
  • Assassin’s Creed Rift
  • Assassin’s Creed Infinity
  • Ghost Recon Frontline
  • XDefiant
  • Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
  • Remake Prince of Persia (unknown title)
  • The Crew 3 (Project Orlando)
  • Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
  • Roller Champions
  • Beyond Good and Evil 2
  • Splinter Cell Remake
  • The Division Mobile
  • Other Mobile Games

Keep in mind that this is all a leak at the moment and has yet to be confirmed. So take it with a prince of salt for now. Still, it is exciting to know that Ubisoft is planning something big soon. We can’t wait to see Skull and Bones, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and of course, Beyond Good and Evil 2. Three games that have been missing in action since their initial announcements.
