Ubisoft is reportedly working on a Rainbow Six Siege Mobile game. According to Exputer, Rainbow Six Siege Mobile is apparently in development at Ubisoft in collaboration with Tencent’s WeGame. The report claims that Ubisoft is also working on an Assassin’s Creed and The Division mobile games. However, details are scarce on these titles at the moment.
The partnership with Tencent comes as no surprise. Ubisoft has recently invested quite a lot of money and time into the mobile division WeGame. The company even announced during its latest earnings reports that it was working with Tencent on multiple new mobile projects. Guess Rainbow Six Siege Mobile is the first.
According to Exputer, Rainbow Six Siege Mobile will be fully unveiled on 6 April so expect a full announcement in the coming weeks. Details on the project are non-existent at the moment but given the mobile game is based on the Siege series, it will most likely follow the same tactical gameplay approach.
Rainbow Six Siege is a huge game with raking in millions of players every month. The game recently got its latest Demon Veil season which marks the seventh year the game has been around. Considering how rocky the game’s launch was back in 2015, Ubisoft has managed to turn the game into a gold mine, and it is also extremely fun to play.
We will share more details on Rainbow Six Siege Mobile when we learn more about the game.
