The upcoming live-action Until Dawn movie will recast actor Peter Stormare as Dr. Hill, the same character he played in the video game. Unfortunately, most of the main cast has been replaced by younger actors as opposed to the game’s cast which consisted of Hollywood names like Hayden Panettiere and Rami Malek.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Peter Stormare has joined the cast of Until Dawn to reprise his role as Dr. Hill, a psychiatrist who appears throughout the game during new chapters. In these segments, players must make choices that impact the experience and narrative, leading to some unexpected scares and surprises. It’s unclear if Stormare will show up between chapters in the movie adaptation in the same fashion as the games.
Peter Stormare is best known for making appearances in movies like Constantine where he played Lucifer and John Wick: Chapter 2 where he played a crime lord. He also acted in the television series Fargo and appeared in another video game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
