After some rumours that Ubisoft will be revealing a subscription service, the publisher revealed Uplay Plus for PC gamers during their E3 2019 press conference. Uplay Plus will give players access to over 100 games including new and upcoming releases, premium editions and DLC and post-launch content.

The Uplay Plus service launches on 3 September 2019 and you can sign up for it now. Those who sign up between now and 15 August will gain free access to Uplay Plus from launch until 30 September 2019. The subscription service will cost you $15 a month and with it, you will also gain access to new games, betas and more.
Ubisoft explains in a blog post that:
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”#33fcff” class=”” size=”22″]Not only will Uplay+ subscribers have access to a massive collection of classic Ubisoft titles and franchises – including Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, and Beyond Good & Evil – but they’ll also have access to upcoming titles like Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Watch Dogs: Legion, and more. Additionally, subscribers will automatically be included in all betas and early access programs, like the upcoming Ghost Recon Breakpoint beta on September 5, and early access release on October 1.[/perfectpullquote]
Further, the developer also explains how offline games will work and that you can continue your experience by getting access to new DLC and Season Pass content:
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”#33ff5e” class=”” size=”22″] Uplay+ also gives you a great reason to jump back into games you may have already played. Say you’ve completed the main campaign of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, but decided not to pick up the Season Pass, and missed out on The Legacy of the First Blade and Fate of Atlantis story arcs. With Uplay+, you’ll have instant access to both expansions.
With Uplay+, you can download games directly to your PC, meaning that you can play offline-enabled games without connecting to the internet. If you ever change your mind, you can cancel your subscription at any time – and if you decide to rejoin, all your previous game progress will be preserved. [/perfectpullquote]
This sounds like a great deal if you ask me, especially since Ubisoft creates a tonne of quality games and there are some exciting titles to look forward to, such as Watch Dogs Legions, the new Rainbow Six Siege and more.
