As you can see in this Reddit thread, fans are wondering what the point of this Dota 2 treasure is. The reason for this is pretty simple: these treasures, although not available in the official store, are available on the marketplace and they are mostly cheaper. For example, Sven’s Cry of the Battlehawk costs R19 on the Steam marketplace.
The “extremely” rare items might be more expensive, for example, Luna’s Complete Dark Moon Stalker set will cost you R145 on the Steam Marketplace. However, unless you get extremely lucky, it will be cheaper to buy the set from the marketplace than to try and get an extremely rare item set from a treasure that holds 22 item sets.
If you recycle six of these sets, you can an extra treasure and 2000 Dota Plus shards. The full list of item sets in the Treasure of the Timeless Rite is as follows:
- Omen’s Embrace
- Chimera’s Rage
- Splendor of the Protean Emperor
- Cry of the Battlehawk
- Raikage Warrior
- Molten Destructor
- Herald of Measureless Ruin

- Complete Ethereal Monarch (very rare)
