Valve Releases New Dota 2 Cosmetics in the Treasure of Twilight Procession

Out of the blue, Valve has released some new Dota 2 cosmetics in the Treasure of Twilight Procession in the early hours of the morning (23 October 2019) for gamers to throw their wallets at. The items look pretty great especially the “very rare” Dark Willow set which has a nice Halloween theme to it.

The Treasure of Twilight Procession will set you back R38 each and there is a total of seven regular cosmetic sets, followed by a “rare” Clinkz set and then the “very rare” Dark Willow set as mentioned above.

There’s also a little bonus for Dota Plus subscribers, as they can recycle unopened bundles from this treasure to earn progress toward a reward containing an additional bonus treasure as well as 2000 Dota Plus shards. You will need to recycle six of these unopened bundles for one more Treasure of Twilight Procession and another shot at the rare or very rare sets within.

Valve explains that:

[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”#16EBCC” class=”” size=”20″]The Treasure of Twilight Procession is now available, featuring all-new item sets for Tidehunter, Shadow Demon, Slardar, Jakiro, Storm Spirit, Viper, and Faceless Void — plus the chance for a rare Clinkz set or very rare Dark Willow set.[/perfectpullquote]

Apart from the rare and very rare sets, some other sets look great as well in the treasure, for example, the Treant Protector’s set and Shadow Demon who really stand out, while the genie-like Storm Spirit set is okay and others do look a bit lacklustre.

As always, this treasure has escalating odds as well and the price isn’t too bad at all if you like collecting all the Dota 2 cosmetics you can. Unfortunately, there are no “ultra-rare” or “cosmically rare” item sets in the treasure.
