Developer The Chinese Room and publisher Paradox Interactive have revealed the first vampiric clan that will be featured in the upcoming RPG, Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2. The clan is called Brujah and it’s one of four clans that Phyre, the main character, can join in the game.
As the video states, the Brujah clan are often misjudged as rebellious punks simply looking for trouble and violence but they’re actually a lot more passionate and dignified. The Brujah mainly utilise brutal melee combat and harness their abilities through their vampire abilities called Disciplines. If you choose to join them, you’ll get access to the awesome Discipline abilities that lets you grab enemies, drag them and slam them into walls and floors.

The Chinese Room revealed that a complete list of Disciplines for the Brujah clan will be announced in early 2024. Meanwhile, fans can look forward to a new clan being revealed next week.
It seems like joining specific clans will grant players unique abilities in Bloodlines 2. The Brujah clan, for example, will significantly boost Phyre’s melee sklls and offer a robust selection of methods to physically take down enemies. We assume that the unrevealed clans will grant unique abilities as well, possibly boosting other vampiric powers for a diverse range of ways to play the game.
The Chinese Room revealed some new bits of information regarding Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2. The game will feature a voiced protagonist in the custom-created Phyre, who will presumably either be a male, female or non-binary (though this hasn’t been confirmed yet). The developers also stated that Baldur’s Gate 3 was a big source of inspiration for the game, mainly referring to Larian’s excellent multi-layered storytelling.
