The Venom sequel will not make its 2020 release date for obvious reasons. Venom 2 was meant to release on 2 October 2020 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film will no longer hit cinemas as planned. The film also has a new title dubbed “Venom: The There be Carnage” which is a clear indication that the film will now feature the popular villain.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage will now release on 25 June 2021 which was actually the original release date of the upcoming Robert Pattinson The Batman movie which we learnt yesterday was also delayed.
Along with the delay, Sony released a fancy new logo for the upcoming Venom 2 movie which got everyone excited.

the Venom sequel is not the only film to be delayed by Sony. The studio announced last month that almost every one of its upcoming releases would not make their original box office debut. This includes “Morbius” (from 31 July 2020 to 19 March 2021), “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” (from 10 July 2020 to 5 March 2021) and Tom Holland’s “Uncharted” (from 5 March 2021 to 8 Oct 2021).
Warner Bros. also delayed its DC films lineup yesterday which included The Batman, Wonder Woman 1984 and more.
