Ahead of the 29 August release date, Square Enix dropped a Visions of Mana demo on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The upcoming fantasy game is the latest in the Mana series and if anything, it is likely Square Enix’s most anticipated game for the remainder of 2024.
The demo is now available in all regions and gives players a good taste of the game’s world and combat. If you complete the demo you’ll also earn three weapons for the final game. These include:
- Gladius (small sword for Val)
- Falx (great sword for Val)
- Horn Lance (lance for Val)
These weapons are early-game items players will use in the starting chapters of the main game:
- The “Gladius” can be equipped once Val becomes playable in Chapter 1.
- The “Falx” can be equipped once it becomes possible to change class to the wind class.
- The “Horn Lance” can be equipped once it becomes possible to change class to the moon class.
As long as you keep the saved data from the demo on your console, the full game will detect it and unlock the weapons. Sadly, no content from the demo itself will carry over to the main game.
Visions of Mana launches on 29 August for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The game is also launching day one on Xbox Game Pass.
Visions of Mana is a brand new title in this series revolving around the sacred sword and mana. The protagonist Val and his childhood friend Hinna, the newly appointed Alm of Fire, set off on a journey to the Mana Tree.
