While the Warhammer video game series has been spread incredibly thin across the industry, a few select games stand out from the rest. There’s no doubt that the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is one of those. The long-awaited sequel to the 2011 game was announced back in 2021 and we haven’t seen much from it yet. Thankfully, there’s a “very” short new gameplay trailer to keep us going until whenever this game is ready to play.
The trailer packs everything we would expect from Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The visuals are looking amazing, the gore is definitely being delivered and the action will make all fans happy.

The short gameplay clip starts with Titus walking towards a large structure with hundreds of demons flying about. It gives us a good look at the sheer scale of the world we’ll be exploring. This scale is seen throughout the trailer as we walks towards similar structures with Tyranid everywhere.
There’s also a bit of combat to enjoy. Titus is seen brutally sawing apart demons and mowing them down with his mini-gun. The game isn’t scared to throw hundreds of enemies at you and hordes look incredible.
The big question now is “When will we play this?”. We don’t know and to be honest, this very short gameplay trailer doesn’t give me hope that the game is even close to ready. Focus Entertainment is aiming to release Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 this year but we’ll have to wait and see if that actually happens.
