Warhammer Skulls 2022 Plays Host to 12 Game Reveals and Updates

Warhammer fans were in for a treat last night as the annual Warhammer Skulls event kicked off. If anything, this was the biggest event to date with 12 game reveals and updates coming out of the stream. There was brand-new game reveals as well as updates to some of our favourite titles.

Warhammer Vermintide is getting a substantial free game update this month, there’s a closer look at Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and keep an eye on that Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun game, it looks pretty epic.

Here’s a rundown on all the game updates and reveals during the Warhammer Skulls event.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

Farshark released a new trailer for Warhammer: 40,000 Darktide. The game is expected to launch on Xbox Series X/S and PC as well as arrive on Xbox Game Pass on day one. No set release date has been announced yet.

Total War: Warhammer 3 – Immortal Empires

Set for a PC release sometime in Q3 2022, Total War: Warhammer 3 Immortals Empires is a new mode. It is meant to compile everything in Total War: Warhammer that has released so far into one new mode. It also aims to grow the list of factions in the game and allow players to play everything they have purchased across all three games on one huge map.

Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood, and Teef

The upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood, and Teef side-scrolling run-and-gun now has a release date of 18 October. The game is headed to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Switch.

Warhammer Vermintide 2: Chaos Wastes – Be’lakor update

On 14 June, Warhammer  Vermintide 2 will get a free update that will overhaul the difficulty in the Chaos Wastes mode.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Update

Saber Interactive shared a new update on the anticipated Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2. The developer shared insights into the Emperor’s Angels of Death and how the studio aims to accurately represent the lore. The game is expected to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge Card Game

Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge is a new collectable card game set in the series. The game is expected to launch on PC in 2023

Blood Bowl 3 Update

Two new teams are coming to Blood Bowl 3 in 2022. The latest trailer showcases the mechanics behind the teams and how they play.

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector roadmap

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is set to get new DLC and updates. The Adeptus Soritas are being added to the game as a new faction and the Sisters of Battle are slated to arrive later in 2022. New game updates and improvements will also arrive in the months ahead. The game is currently available on PC.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor Remaster

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is being remastered for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game will run at 4K 60FPS with improved visuals, physics and more. It is scheduled to launch later in 2022.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun

Developed by Auroch Digital and published by Focus Entertainment, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is a classic retro shooter styled after games like DOOM and Dusk. It is scheduled to launch sometime in 2023.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is a new hardcore role-playing game set in the 40K universe. Developed by Owlcat Games, the developers of Pathfinder, Rogue Trader will task players with guiding a Rogue Trader through the world.

Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus

Last but not least we have Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus. This is a new strategy game for mobile devices developed by Snowprint. You can pre-register for the game starting today by visiting the official site here.
