The next entry into Ubisoft’s third-person hackathon franchise, Watch Dogs Legion, has been confirmed by the publisher. This confirmation happened in the early hours of the morning on 5 June, just one day after a leak which I said looks relatively solid, let slip some details about the game.
The Watch Dogs Twitter account changed its name to Watch Dogs Legion, officially confirming the name of the next game in the franchise. It also confirmed what we all expected, that Ubisoft will reveal the game in full at E3 2019. Ubisoft dropped a singular tweet about the game and it is pretty interesting. Check it out below before we continue.

The tweet just shows the Watch Dogs logo, accompanied by a confirmation that the game will be at E3 and a strange number which I am not sure what to make of at the bottom left.
Further, the tweet says “God Save the NPCs” and this could very well be confirming one of the details in the leak; that the player will be able to control any NPC in the game. For those who missed it, check out everything we know so far about Watch Dogs Legion below thanks to a report by Kotaku and an Amazon listing that has since been removed:
