Watch The Leaked Elden Ring Opening Cinematic if You Dare

We are one week away from Elden Ring and if you’re super excited to play the game and simply can’t wait to see more of it then we have some news. The Elden Ring opening cinematic has leaked online in full. We don’t know where it came from but clearly, either media have the game and are leaking it or someone else got their hands on the game and managed to upload the video.

The Elden Ring opening cinematic was originally uploaded to YouTube but its life was short-lived. YouTube immediately took the video down after receiving a copyright claim from Bandai Namco. However, it has since been uploaded to Steamja. Hopefully, Bandai Namco doesn’t get hold of this copy.

I won’t go into much detail on what the Elden Ring opening cinematic entails because I am trying to avoid it too. But the gist of it revolves around the backstory of the Elden Ring itself and the war that was brought on by its collapse. Sadly, the game’s opening isn’t in CG. All past FromSoftware games featured CG openings but this one is delivered through some gorgeous artwork. It looks pretty, from the few seconds I pretended not to see.

If you want to watch it, you can do so here.

Elden Ring is launching on 25 February 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
