Earlier this week we reported on the news that Warner Bros. is working on a Super Smash Bros clone that will merge popular WB characters into one game. While the reports sounded a bit crazy, the game’s fighting screen has now leaked online revealing an early look at the roster of characters.
So far, we can see the game includes some iconic pop culture personalities including Batman, Bugs Bunny, Shaggy (he didn’t make it into Mortal Kombat but this is better than nothing), Rick, Superman and Gandalf.

The WB Games fighting bros clone will also include a range of new original characters so perhaps there’s some sort of story going on in the game. It also features a Fortnite-like art style, probably to make it appealing to younger audiences. The full list seen in the leak include:
- Stephen Universe
- Adventure Time
- Batman / Harley Quinn
- Superman / WW
- Gandalf
- Rick & Morty
- Tom & Jerry
- Bugs Bunny
- New Char (top left)
The leak was spotted on Twitter and posted by user Hungrybox. Unfortunately, Warner Bros did issue a DMCA takedown of the image so the tweet is now empty. However, the image you see above was saved before that could happen. Sorry for the bad quality, that’s as good as it gets right now.
At the moment there’s no word on a release date or announcement reveal for this WB Games fighter. According to another report, the game isn’t looking too great either. According to Jeff Grubb, the game “looks cheap” and is free-to-play. Future fighters will be sold as DLC and Warner Bros is even including Lebron James in the game as a fighter.
This WB Games smash-up is definitely real but we don’t know when the official announcement will take place. Warner Bros. is clearly trying hard to keep the leaks away but it is too late now. Hopefully, we can see this in the flesh soon.
