It seems that Gotham Knights won’t have 4-player co-op after all. WB Games has fixed the PlayStation Store listing that previously mentioned the game’s 4-player mode. We don’t know if this edit was done to prevent the news from leaking before an official reveal or perhaps the listing was actually a mistake.
Gotham Knights was showcased yesterday during a special gameplay video that showed off Red Hood and Nightwing exploring Gotham, punching goons and more. The game definitely supports two-player co-op and this feature has been confirmed by WB Games but it seems the ability to play with three other friends is not happening.

WB Games says that Gotham Knights is fully playable in co-op with up to two players. Each player can take on the role of one of the heroes in the game and jump in and out of the action at any time.
Exploration plays a significant role in the gameplay and each of the four characters uses a unique mode of transport to get around. Red Hood has a motorcycle and Nightwing has a glider. There’s also a social hub where you and your partner can chill together called the Belfry. Here players can access the bat computer, plan missions, check challenges, upgrade equipment and more.
We also learnt that Gotham Knights won’t be released on PS4 and Xbox One. WB Games Montreal confirmed the news by cancelling the last-gen ports of the game. Gotham Knights is expected to launch on 25 October 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Catch up on the latest trailer below.
